We have an opportunity for a Partnership and Networking Lead to join our regional Pacific Health team. Working closely with the Regional Pacific Health Director and Regional Pacific Health team, this role will strengthen relationships with communities, Pacific Providers, and other Health Stakeholders.

The Partnership & Networking Lead will support the delivery of programmes that increase health literacy for families and communities and increase their knowledge of health systems and the available services and resources.

Ultimately this role will integrate the national approach within the region, and access the long-term sustainability of improvements, translating learning into improved service delivery and outcomes.

Mou About you

For this role we are seeking an experienced relationship manager, who has been working in health for several years. You will bring an understanding and working knowledge of Pacific cultures, values, and models of care, gained through your extensive mahi in the Pacific community development space.

You may have held key leadership roles in large organisations in the past, and/or have experience in leading out transformational change.

Known for your ability to influence and inspire, you are able to lift the performance of the team or unit you're working in by building capability and trust.

A commitment to being a good Te Tiriti partner in all your actions. This includes an understanding of the significance of and obligations under Te Tiriti o Waitangi, and the ability to apply Te Tiriti principles in a meaningful way in this role

An understanding of te ao Maori, tikanga, and te reo Maori or a commitment to starting your journey and taking ownership of your learning and growth

5-10 years of experience in the health space, including in senior/leadership roles

Some Pacific language skills, and a deep understanding of Pacific peoples, customs, and cultures

Experience in identifying, developing, and implementing opportunities for continuous improvement and transformational change

An understanding of financial and funding frameworks and an appreciation of associated risk

A graduate and/or postgraduate qualification in an area relevant to health, or comparable professional experience.
