12 December 2024Senior BAS ManagerDecember 12, 2024 by John O'Donnell 0 Comments Fantastic opportunity to join an established well regarded multipartner firm in line with their rapid growth in the North Shore region in 2024/2025As a Senior Manager of theBAS team, you'll be working closely alongside the Partners and Directors on a range of clients from different industries.Owning the end-to-end tasks for an established portfolio of clientsPreparation of financial statements, tax planning & other compliance duties as well reviewing the work of junior staff membersManage and monitor the commercial aspects of an engagement to achieve desired levels of quality and profitability, including workflow management, expected utilization and productivity targetsManaging the relationship and contact with clientsThis role can offer longevity; with our Client looking to hire experienced BAS practitioners who are looking for a clear and eventual pathway to partnership and equity.The ideal candidateExperience of 4-6 years in an established NZ Accounting practice at a supervisory/reviewer levelSolid working experience of Xero packages as well as industry toolsStrong knowledge of NZ IRD tax requirementsStakeholder management and ability to communicate directly with clientsExperience in working with large scale and commercial businessesFormally qualified (CA, CPA or equivalent)Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to mentor, coach and motivate team members.Culture & EnvironmentWith a broad client portfolio you'll be exposed to advisory work and direct client contact from day one.You will have the opportunity to utilize new technology to deliver cutting edge business advisory to your clients.The Partners and Directors believe in an open door policy allows for the best working environment and encourage their staff to create and maintain full client contact and interaction.Next stepsThis is an exceptional opportunity to join one of the most trusted, respected and established professional services firm with a lengthy history on the North Shore.I would be keen to hear from experienced accounting professionals, either those who are presently in an established CA firm, or are looking to make the shift from industry to practice.We would be keen to hear from BAS practitioners with the relevant technical and leadership experience who are keen to join a firm with an established client book.Keen to chat before applying?
