28 March 2025Senior BAS Accountant or Assistant Manager – North ShoreFantastic opportunity to join an established well regarded multi-partner firm in line with their rapid growth in the North Shore region in 2025.Key duties:Owning the end-to-end tasks for an established portfolio of clients.Preparation of financial statements, tax planning, & tax compliance duties as well reviewing the work of junior staff members.Managing work flow and ensuring that the jobs are completed within the set budget.Managing the relationship and contact with clients.The ideal candidate:Experience of 3-5 years in an established NZ Accounting practice.Solid working experience of Xero packages as well as industry tools.Strong knowledge of NZ IRD tax requirements and tax compliance.Stakeholder management and ability to communicate directly with clients.Experience in working with large scale and commercial businesses.Formally qualified or midway qualified (CA, CPA or equivalent).Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to mentor, coach and motivate team members.Culture & Environment:With a broad client portfolio you'll be exposed to advisory work and direct client contact from day one.
