Their team of highly qualified, experienced Kaiako (teachers) are truly invested in the future of tamariki, as well as the wellbeing of the whole whanau.About the roleWe are looking for an accounting professional to assist the Finance Manager and support key stakeholders in the effective management of financial services across the organisation.Duties and responsibilities will include:Ensuring accounting processes are completed in line with policy, regulatory requirements and leading-edge practicesCompleting transactional activities such as AP, AR, payroll, bank reconciliations, GL and journalling functionsBuilding effective business relationships and networks both within and external to the organisationMaintaining asset registers and overseeing assigned service contractsProviding advice, education and support to budget holdersIdentifying opportunities to improve costs, efficiencies and decision-making capability within the organisationSkills and experienceThe ideal candidate will have strong numerical skills, the ability to prepare and interpret financial statements, and a solid understanding of financial reporting standards and regulations.
