Are you looking for a role that will have a positive impact in the justice system? We are looking for a Senior Advisor Design to support the Te Ao Marama programme. This is a fixed-term role until July 2025, based in Wellington. Te Haeata/The Opportunity The Senior Advisor will support the implementation of the Te Ao Marama Programme's Engagement Strategy, and will contribute to the design and development of the Te Ao Marama programme with iwi, communities, judiciary, the Ministry of Justice and the wider justice sector. O pukenga/Skills and Experience To be successful in this role you will ideally have the following: A tertiary degree in a relevant field is preferable Working knowledge of Te Reo Maori and tikanga Maori Knowledge and understanding of Te Tiriti o Waitangi Experience engaging with iwi and Maori organisations, whanau, hapu and iwi Experience providing written reports and presentations to a high standard, including high levels of accuracy Strong relationship management, community engagement, and collaboration Mo matou/About us At Te Tahu o te Ture - the Ministry of Justice, we're committed to working together for a fair and safe Aotearoa. The Te Ao Marama Programme team is a multi-disciplinary ropu established to enable the design, development, and delivery of the programme. You will be working closely with iwi and communities, and supporting teams across the Ministry of Justice and the wider justice sector.
