The Zone encompasses the Otago and Southland regions which includes over 11,000 members participating in netball at grassroots level.We are seeking a Netball - Participation Lead to support and deliver netball participation opportunities within the South Zone for all members but with a focus on Tamariki and Rangatahi. There will be an emphasis on engaging with centres and communities to understand their needs and drive initiatives to support meaningful, innovative participation opportunities. These opportunities will address barriers to participation so that netball remains a strong and attractive participation sport in the South.The Netball - Participation Lead will also ensure key regional tournaments such as Secondary School Tournaments run smoothly and meet the needs of the netball community.Ideally, the successful applicant will have a background in Sports Administration and Delivery. You will be a skilled communicator, highly organised, well-planned, and reliable. The ability to build and maintain a network of strong relationships and work closely with Netball New Zealand, Zone and Centre staff, and volunteers in the netball community is essential.This role is fixed term part-time, 25 hours a week until December 2025. The Netball - Participation Lead will be based in Invercargill at the Head Office of Netball South and report to the Relationship Manager - Community Lead.
