Leading Ophthalmologist for Southland Hospital

We are seeking a skilled and experienced ophthalmologist to join our team at the Southland Hospital Eye Department. As a leading healthcare provider in Southern NZ, we are committed to delivering exceptional patient care and improving health outcomes for our community.
About the RoleThis role is primarily based in Invercargill and involves participating in the on-call roster, routine ophthalmology clinics, and theatre. You will also need to be flexible with your scheduling and have excellent time management skills.
- Participate in the on-call roster and contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care
- Conduct routine ophthalmology clinics and perform surgeries as required
- Foster strong relationships with colleagues and patients to ensure seamless care coordination
The successful candidate will have completed specialist training and be eligible or already hold vocational registration with the New Zealand Medical Council. Requirements- Completed specialist training in ophthalmology
