MEDICAL RECEPTIONIST / ADMINISTRATOR – 2 ROLESWe are seeking two warm, cheerful superstars to join our Administration team.
The ideal candidates will be capable of working in a busy environment with both admin and clinical members of staff.
These are demanding roles and you will need to be organised and methodical, have an eye for detail, and be able to follow processes and procedures.There is one full-time role, working Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm (may include after hours).The second role is a casual role, to work as required to cover the sick and annual leave of our full-time Admin staff.
This person will need to be flexible, available to work at short notice, able to work Monday to Friday, 8am-5pm on an as-needed basis.Both roles will involve, but are not limited to:Answering telephone calls from patients and other health providersGreeting patients and making them feel welcome, comfortable and safeManaging the waiting roomAccurate detailed patient registrationsAccurate invoicing and receiptingGeneral office duties such as document management and correspondenceFor success you will need:Excellent communication skills and the ability to relate to people at all levelsCommitment to providing patient-centred, culturally appropriate holistic careSomeone who is committed to the principles of health equity and cultural competency and who is able to demonstrate an understanding of Maori tikanga and kawa and Te Tiriti o Waitangi.Ability to prioritise tasks, manage time & work under pressureA willingness to adaptA positive attitude and a great team playerAbility to maintain patient privacy and confidentiality at all timesExperience with Indici or similar computer software booking systems would be an advantageMethodical and organised with a flair for process and detailCalm mature approach and compassionate natureA high level of initiative and common senseApplicants must have eligibility to work in New Zealand.Apply todayPlease send a cover letter with resume to (insert email or application method).Your application will include the following questions:Which of the following statements best describes your right to work in New Zealand?To help fast track investigation, please include here any other relevant details that prompted you to report this job ad as fraudulent / misleading / discriminatory.
