With ACC's Injury Prevention team, you'll be supporting people in Aotearoa to stay safe by contributing to the development of a critical investment case to further enable primary prevention of sexual violence in Aotearoa.We're looking for a highly motivated person who is ready to bring their analytical skills, collaborative mindset and policy-writing experience to lead a key milestone in the team's investment cycle.Mo te turanga mahi | About the roleAs an Injury Prevention Partner, you will be responsible for leading the Phase 2 Business Case for the primary prevention of sexual violence in Aotearoa. Building on the Phase 1 investment case, you will be required to review a broad range of evidence and implementation work to date, engage with key stakeholders and analyse financial and injury data to develop a concise case for Phase 2 Te Tiriti-led system approach to primary prevention of sexual violence (2025 - 2030).You will be an expert communicator, drawing on your experience of business case, policy writing or public health-informed policy work to coherently translate and align complex information into a compelling business case.Critical to this work is managing stakeholders and internal partner requirements, and you will draw on your project management, policy writing or business management experience to ensure the phase 2 Case meets Huakina Te Ra, ACC's Strategy, the new Injury Prevention team's business plan and internal partner requirements, some of which are unique to ACC as a crown entity.Nga Haepapa Mahi | Key ResponsibilitiesWorking with key stakeholders to develop plan, requirements and accountability lines for business case process and deliverablesLead and facilitate collaborative processes to develop and test business case content support the approval processEnable matauranga-led practices and ways of working to ensure te ao Maori requirements are appropriately integratedAnalyse complex data and financial information for key insightsUse policy writing experience to concisely communicate rationale and options, drawing on evidence and insights and their link to primary prevention, ACC legislation and underpinning principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi, equity and system changeDevelop communication and engagement plans and products and ways to share multifaceted programme of work in simple and effective waysUse project management principles to ensure key deliverables and milestones are metAssess and respond to risks and issues effectively and in a timely mannerMou | About youCommitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi / Treaty of Waitangi and demonstration of ways of working in matauranga Maori-led ways, contributing to Te Tiriti-led practice at ACC.Proven experience in policy writing, analysis and facilitating internal connections to help build and support delivery of key milestonesExperience in analysis that support equity for Maori and other priority populations including but not limited to Pasifika, disabled people, LGBTQI+ and new migrantsStrong interpersonal and communication skills which mean you are experienced at navigating complex relationships and have a deep kete of skills to bring to this work both within ACC and with our partners.You have a proven record of delivery and influencing successBe solutions-orientated with commitment to relentless learning and demonstration of equity, allyship, anti-racism and decolonisation practices.We are a supportive and ambitious team, engaging in innovative mahi that is both tough and rewarding.
