High Level Retail Security Personnel – AucklandWorking on a Permanent Full-time basis at Westfield Newmarket, Red Badge Group are looking for highly motivated & well-presented individuals who can bring their outstanding customer service & people skills to our teamAs we continue to grow, we currently have multiple opportunities for individuals who are wanting a change, to develop & grow or are starting to progress a career in securityWhat's on Offer:Flexible working hours and competitive weekly payOpportunities for career progression with individual learning and development trainingRole variety – multiple work opportunities and experienceWelcoming and supportive team environment24/7 Support from the office and management teamAbout Us:Red Badge Group is New Zealand's leading independent provider of security and crowd management services across Key Facilities.About the Role:Maintaining the safety and security of all individuals within the shopping environmentDetect, deter, and observe customers.Locking/unlocking the mall or allowing after hours access to contractorsUsing specialist technology to assist with reporting.Create a positive working relationship with internal and external stakeholders (client, police etc).Patrolling the mall to monitor entrances & exits, and high-risk areasMonitoring and responding to customer conflicts, incidents or medical issues.Manage crowd flow in event of fire evacuations or other large incidents.Provide clear and concise daily reports detailing any incidents, observations, or actions taken during the shift.Provide outstanding customer service to all customers and retailers.Maintain a high level of professionalism at all timesAbout you:Prior experience in a customer-facing role such as hospitality or retail; security or a related field is preferred, but not required. We offer training for qualified candidates.Valid Green COA Security License is desirable; however, Red Badge can support you in obtaining one if you are 18 years old or over, have a clean criminal record & eligible to work in NZ.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact with a diverse range of individuals in a positive and professional mannerStrong observational skills and attention to detailAbility to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations and make quick decisions when neededAble to take directives from Site Supervisors, Managers & clients; and work well in team environmentsPossess a strong, professional work ethic and desire to take responsibility.Must be reliable, confident & honest at all timesPhysical fitness and the ability to stand and walk for extended periodsAvailability to work flexible hours, including at least 1 weekend day.Applicants for this position should have NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa.'Apply Now' to express your interest in the role - we would love to hear from you
