In this role, you will proactively support the Council's flood protection infrastructure rebuild projects and the Communications & Engagement team. You will lead community engagement by advising on process, strategy, and engagement, enabling the team to deliver projects in a timely manner. This position is responsible for building an understanding of key stakeholder groups and individual stakeholders, being a point of contact for concerned community members, answering specific enquiries, and setting up and running regular community meetings as needed.About you | E pa ana ki a koe:The ideal candidate will have a relevant bachelor's degree or equivalent tertiary qualification and/or 2-3 years of experience in a similar role or relevant industry. You should have a demonstrated ability to deliver effective program coordination and an understanding of and experience in local government. You must possess excellent administrative abilities, strong organisational and time management skills, and excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
