Due to an internal promotion, we have a new opportunity for you to join our Members Accounting team supporting our members.
You could be a junior accountant wanting to really focus on developing your skillset or you could be an experienced accountant considering a return to the field, wanting to try something a little different
About the roleJoining a small team that is part of the wider Finance Operations Group, the Members Accountant supports Member stores, Foodstuffs North Island internal stakeholders and outsourced partners through the provision of timely and accurate financial information and analysis.
This role ensures the accounting information and financial reports for client members are prepared and delivered to achieve optimal financial performance. Supporting stores with insights, analysis and answering of queries. There are deadlines to be met at Month End and Year End to ensure we meet taxation and Company Office obligations.
About youWith either a qualification, or studying towards a qualification, you'll be ready to take on a new challenge and grow your career. Preferably with experience using SAP, MYOB and XERO, you'll be a systems savvy accountant and confident to ask questions and troubleshoot when needed.
Excellent planning and communication skills, a natural collaborative approach, and the ability to clearly articulate ideas/concepts and present information will be key to your success.
