We have an exciting opportunity within our Resources Group for a Team Leader Finance.
This is a diverse role where there is a key focus on mentoring and guiding your team as well as the technical aspect of corporate financial accounting functions.About the role | Ko te mahi neiWith a diverse range of work and the ability to influence in this challenging yet rewarding role, you will make a difference in keeping the cogs turning.
You'll be a key part of providing support to Council Controlled Organisations and will support your Manager in maintaining the integrity of the financial reporting system.
You'll also manage the delivery of the Councils annual report which includes assisting with technical projects.
As well as this you will develop and maintain the training and professional growth of your accounting staff.Managing a team of four, your previous experience in a corporate or public accounting leadership position will come in handy when guiding them on technical procedures and taking a mentoring approach to share your experience and knowledge.
To succeed in this position, you will have a tertiary degree with a major in Accounting or Finance and also be a member of CAANZ (or equivalent).
