This new approach will help DOC strengthen Treaty partnerships and better support frontline staff. In this role, you'll work closely with the wider procurement team to embed this model across the organisation, fostering strategic supplier relationships, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and driving continuous improvement.He angitutanga | About the roleReporting to the National Procurement Manager, you will oversee the delivery of procurement plan objectives through effective supplier relationship management within the ISS (Information Systems & Services) portfolio. You'll have the support of a Supplier Advisor and Administrator (shared resource) to manage and deliver the key contracts where you will provide mentorship and guidance as they develop.The position will be focused on:needs analysis and long-term category planningmarket research to understand category market dynamicsanalysing current category spend and supplier base, providing strategic advice to the business on your findingssetting the category strategy for your portfolio, providing advice and support across the teamleading panel management, ensuring they are operating efficiently and implementing improvements when required.Nga pukenga me nga wheako | Skills and experienceIf you have the following attributes, we are keen to hear from you:extensive experience in a similar senior Procurement/ Category Management role.
