If you've been thinking about stepping away from a clinical setting, but still want to utilise your knowledge and experience, then here's your chance.Au Mahi - What You Will DoIdeally based in Christchurch (from the Canterbury Cancer Centre in Papanui), you'll clinically lead and advise our Southern Cancer Society kaimahi to provide high quality provision of core services in cancer care and client/whanau support.You'll support all our community teams right across Canterbury, the West Coast, Otago and Southland and be responsible for:Providing clinical oversight and being the first point of contact for queries that have a clinical component.Overseeing training needs and ongoing support of kaimahi – this could range from developing and delivering training through to supporting complex cases.Leading and contributing to key projects and representing the Southern Cancer Society with key stakeholders from a clinical perspective.Your days will be varied and you'll connect and collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders.Mohou ake - About youTo be successful in this role, you'll be a registered nurse, ideally with an oncology background. You'll have exceptional people and interpersonal skills, the ability to connect and build relationships with a wide range of people and the skill to translate clinical information to a non-clinical audience. You'll be joining a team who are dedicated to supporting the community they live and work in.
