Assist team members to provide well organised and well supported therapeutic groups to people involved with the Tupu Ora service.
Permanent, part-time 0.8fte (32 hours) per week, Monday to Friday, based in Greenlane Clinical Centre.
Te whiwhinga mahi | The Opportunity We are seeking a Mental Health Assistant to join our service at Tupu Ora.
Tupu Ora is a regional specialist service providing assessment and treatment for, children, adolescents and adults with eating disorders.
Tupu Ora also provides consultation to and liaison with community services and hospitals in the Metro Auckland and Northland region.
Tupu Ora has a continuum of services including community/outpatient, day programme and residential options.
The Tupu Ora community team provides specialist treatment to children, adolescents and adults presenting with moderate to severe eating disorders in the community and outpatient setting.
Our community team has both child and adolescent and adult sub-teams.
Consideration to the successful The purpose of this position is to provide support for therapeutic groups delivered by Tupu Ora.
These groups are attended by clients and/or whānau and the role will assist by working alongside the multidisciplinary team of mental health professionals to ensure that effective and high-quality clinical service is delivered in an organised and cohesive way.

Nga Pūkenga Motuhake | Important Skills You will have previous experience within mental health and/or eating disorders services You will have a commitment to biculturalism and to achieving equitable outcomes for Māori.
A qualification (certificate/diploma) in Mental Health Support work is essential for this role.
This is a Community based role, so a full Driver Licences is required.
