Clinical Manager: Be at the Heart of Aged Care
Welcome to our brand new & charming 56-bed boutique care home, where you'll have the chance to create a warm and personalized environment. Your first mission will be to rebuild and strengthen our clinical team, guiding both existing staff and new members through the changes, helping them embrace our new processes and vision.
Our care home provides comprehensive services, including rest home, hospital, and dementia care, along with physio, speech, and language therapy.
We've implemented the VCare system to ensure top-notch care for our residents. Your expertise with VCare will be invaluable, making this an ideal opportunity for a tech-savvy clinical professional to shine in our newly established facility.
You'll be leading a team of 8 nurses, a mix of seasoned and junior staff who need guidance and training. Additionally, you'll oversee an experienced team of 25 caregivers.
Your first challenge will be to stay on top of care home documentation while training staff to deepen their understanding of assessments, care planning, and wound management. This is your chance to make a significant impact and help our team thrive
Where You'll Make an Impact:

Provide person-centred clinical care for residents
Lead, coach, and mentor a team of nurses and caregivers to provide excellent quality clinical care.
Conduct medication rounds, manage care plans, in-service education sessions, and maintain accurate paperwork.
Build trusting relationships with residents' families.
Identify areas for investment to ensure continuous quality improvement.

Excellent clinical skills in adult care and ideally have aged care experience.
Passion for leading a team to mentor, develop and support others.
Experience in internal audit management and leading continuous quality improvements.
Confident communication, interpersonal, and teamwork abilities.
