About the role: Ensure the smooth operation and optimal performance of our applications. Be the primary point of contact for application-related issues and collaborate with various business units to deliver timely resolutions and improvements. This position requires availability to travel between work sites as needed. Duties will include: Provide technical support for internal and external users regarding application-related issues. Monitor application performance, troubleshoot incidents, and resolve issues in a timely manner. Collaborate with the team to identify and implement solutions for recurring issues. Maintain detailed documentation of incidents, resolutions, and standard operating procedures. Conduct root cause analysis and propose enhancements to improve application reliability. Assist in the deployment of new applications and updates, ensuring seamless integration. Participate in on-call support rotation and provide after-hours support as needed. Conduct training sessions and create user guides to empower users in utilizing applications effectively. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to recommend improvements. About You: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field 2+ years of experience in application support or a similar role Strong understanding of application lifecycle management and support processes Proficient in troubleshooting software and system issues Experience with databases (SQL, NoSQL) and familiarity with scripting languages (Python, Shell) Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical users Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment Willingness and ability to travel between work sites as needed Preferred Qualifications: Experience with cloud-based applications and services (Office 365, AWS, Azure, etc.) Knowledge of ITIL practices and methodologies Familiarity with monitoring tools and ticketing systems About Us: Montana Group is NZ's largest privately owned catering company with industry leading experience in multiple areas across Waikato and Auckland.
