Their mission is to set the benchmark for certification, compliance and inspection services in the industry.About the roleBased in Christchurch, this is a key leadership role, overseeing the day-to-day operations of the business unit that comprises survey and inspection services.
Reporting to the General Manager, you will lead, develop and support a team of 5 equipment inspectors – and liaise with the wider group that includes design, mechanical and civil engineers, technicians, and support team.
This role is essential for maintaining quality standards and efficient, compliant service delivery.Key responsibilities include:Lead and oversee key operational functions including scheduling and resource management, quality assurance and compliance.Provide leadership, mentoring and professional development support to the team, fostering a positive and high-performing culture, promoting teamwork, accountability and innovation.Promote a culture of continuous improvement, quality and risk awareness.Develop and nurture effective relationships with key clients, industry partners, and stakeholders.About youAn experienced operational leader you understand what it takes to keep things running smoothly in a technical, field-based environment.
With a trade or tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline, your expertise also comes from time spent "on the tools."
