Full TimeFor the past 14 years, One Square Rate Landscaping has delivered exceptional commercial and residential landscaping projects across Canterbury. As a design and build company, we believe in adding value to both people and property by creating remarkable landscapes. Our mission is simple: to make every metre count.We are looking for an experienced Landscape Architect to lead our design team, maintain high standards, and build strong client relationships.Key Attributes:We are looking for someone with the following skills and experience:Experience: 5-10 years of design experience, with management or leadership background.Education: A degree in Landscape Architecture or an equivalent design qualification.Technical Proficiency: Skilled in Vectorworks and common office software.Design Skills: An eye for detail and the ability to think both spatially and laterally.Process Understanding: Knowledge of taking a design from concept through to construction documentation.Problem Solving: Strong problem-solving skills with a collaborative approach.Workload Management: Proactive in managing workloads, meeting deadlines, and prioritizing tasks.Communication: Clear and well-articulated written and verbal communication skills.Client Meetings: Comfortable conducting client meetings and building strong client relationships.On-Site Measurements: Ability to take levels and perform on-site measurements.Team Collaboration: Works well within and alongside our team, including the construction teams.Personal Attributes: An enquiring mind, eager to learn, and willing to put in the effort when required.Requirements:To be successful in this role, you must be:A qualified, experienced team player.Dependable, punctual, and possess a clean driver's license.We offer a supportive team environment and the opportunity to further develop your skills.
