We help the University community to work and study in an excellent organisation.Te mahi/The roleWe're looking for an experienced project coordinator to join the Transformation and Improvement team.
With the opportunity to work across multiple in-flight projects, coordinating activities and tracking, monitoring and reporting on progress.
You will have a critical role in ensuring the successful delivery of University projects.Responsibilities include:Actively monitoring project progress, proactively addressing any potential risks and issues that may arise during the project lifecycle.Providing oversight of budgeting and forecasting activities.Collaborating with project teams to ensure projects are delivered on time.Assisting in solving problems that may occur and playing a part in tasks that lead to project completion.Managing project management tools and software, updating and maintaining project information throughout the project lifecycle.Scheduling and coordinating project meetings, capturing actions, and updating project management software to ensure clear and organised records.Providing administrative support to project managers and team.We're looking for someone who is proactive, can work autonomously and is passionate about all things projects.You will be comfortable taking initiative, working closely with diverse project teams and stakeholders across the University.Qualifications:Well-organised with the ability to multitask and prioritise.Proven ability to work with budgets.Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Strong administrative background with high attention to detail.Proficiency in project management software and tools.This is a full-time (37.5 hours per week), fixed term position until October 2026, located in Dunedin.The appointments range for this role is $67,566 to $72,086, top of range is $77,570.We offer a competitive salary, 5 weeks' annual leave (pro rata) and the ability to achieve real work/life balance.
