We serve over 1.3 million customers every week in the most awesome little country in the worldAbout the roleAt Foodstuffs North Island (FSNI), we are New Zealand's leading food and grocery retailer, and we are looking for a passionate and experienced QA Lead to join our team You'll play a pivotal role in enabling QA Engineers to deliver high-quality solutions across our Agile Release Train, driving innovation, and building capabilities within FSNI.As part of our high-performing IT Testing team, you'll empower your team to continuously improve, drive quality, and lead by example. You won't just manage; you'll mentor, inspire, and guide your team to succeed in their missions. We're committed to delivering best-in-class applications to fuel our business growth, and we need your leadership to make it happenWhat You'll Be Doing:Lead, mentor, and empower QA Engineers within squads to ensure high-quality delivery.Drive continuous improvement in QA processes and standards across the Agile Release Train.Advocate for QA best practices, champion test automation, and introduce cutting-edge testing tools.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, building a culture of excellence and accountability.Own and improve the test environment stack, ensuring reliability and performance.About You:You will be a natural leader with a passion for quality and an eye for detail. You'll thrive in a fast-paced, Agile environment, and love collaborating with cross-functional teams. You will also be ready to make a real impact by empowering others, building a culture of excellence, and driving innovative solutions. Other keys to your success will be:7+ years of experience in QA, including 2+ years as a Test Lead.Expertise in testing web applications, mobile apps, and modern microservices.Strong experience in Agile environments and Scrum methodology.Excellent communication and leadership skills, with a knack for mentoring and inspiring teams.Passion for software testing, innovation, and continuous improvement.Bonus Points:Experience in retail, POS software, or SAP integration.Familiarity with performance testing and physical device testing (e.g., EFTPOS, scales, etc.).Are you ready to make an impact and lead the future of QA at FSNI?
