This well established, private property investment office has a focus on redevelopment opportunities and boasts a diverse portfolio of office, retail and industrial properties across Auckland.

Pivotal to the success of the business is the Property and Facilities Manager, responsible for the day-to-day management of the property portfolio, managing property maintenance, leasing, and tenant relations, whilst ensuring compliance with legal and safety requirements.
Reporting to the CEO, the Property and Facilities Manager will have a strong understanding of lease documentation and extensive experience in commercial/industrial property and facilities management.
More specifically you will be responsible for: Managing the seamless onboarding and offboarding of new tenants, lease renewals, expiries, and rent reviews Creating business plans for properties under management, aligning leasing and operational goals Developing and maintaining proactive leasing engagement strategies with external agents Managing and overseeing small-scale projects across the commercial properties, the office, and for the CEO.
E.g.
refurbishments, office improvements, or special requests Ensuring all properties maintain Building WOFS and conducting property inspections Responding to day-to-day tenant queries and managing tenant relations Overseeing contractor management for general repairs and maintenance Leading OPEX contract tendering processes Managing insurance claims Maintaining accurate databases, property records and tenancy schedules Managing and overseeing the company's Health & Safety (H&S) programme, ensuring compliance across all properties.
Your background Minimum six years of experience in the property management sector Proven experience in a both a property manager position, and facilities management is essential Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver to deadlines Solid financial acumen, specifically experience with OPEX budgeting, invoicing, and rent collection.
Strong understanding of lease agreements, legal obligations of tenants/landlords, and relevant H&S regulations.
Your personal attributes Strong time management and organisation skills with an ability to multi-task Solutions focused, able to take responsibility and resolve issues quickly and effectively Accurate with strong attention to detail Excellent verbal and written communication skills and an ability to build rapport with ease Ability to self-manage and take responsibility (essential) A team player who works well with internal and external stakeholders.
