About the role - Mo te tunga Are you passionate about making a difference for New Zealanders?
We are seeking a motivated Principal Analyst to join us at the Ministry of Social Development / Te Manatu Whakahiato Ora (MSD).
Reporting to the General Manager you will lead strategic projects and policy initiatives and provide mentoring and support to the professional development of less experienced analysts.
This role will give you opportunities to work across a broad work programme that includes providing strategic advice to Ministers on issues impacting the wellbeing of older New Zealanders and the effect of entitlements for people living or intending to live overseas.
In particular we are looking for individuals who are interested in working in the areas of social sector, regional and communities related policy issues.
