The role/Te mahi As Clinic Administrator in the Faculty of Dentistry, you will provide essential administration support to our undergraduate and postgraduate dental programmes and dental hospital services.
In this role you will provide reception support in the Dunedin Dental Hospital including:
Monitoring phone calls and emails.Scheduling appointments.Meeting and greeting patients.Managing appointments and records.Payment/fees receipting.Patient account auditing.You will manage data and files including waitlists and referrals, and upkeep patient records, using the patient management software (Titanium).
Along with excellent administration and coordination skills, you will have a strong customer service focus.
We are looking for someone with excellent organisation and time management skills, a flexible approach and ability to provide support where it is needed most.
Importantly you will be self-directed, and passionate about delivering exceptional client service.
Additional skills required include: Expertise in Microsoft Office Suite, with ability to adapt and navigate new systems.An inquisitive mindset and problem-solving skills.A desire to learn and a commitment to contributing to a positive team environment.Strong written and verbal communication skills, with an eye for detail.An ongoing commitment to positive outcomes for our students, staff, and patients.Dedication to working in a culturally safe and respectful manner and demonstrated understanding and appreciation of Te Ao Maori, Te Tiriti o Waitangi principles, and Pasifika values.We have two opportunities available:
Fixed term (14 Months), full time (37.5 hours).Permanent, part time 0.5FTE (18.75 hours).Both roles are located in Otepoti, Dunedin.
You must have the right to live and work in New Zealand to apply for these positions.
The appointment range for these roles is $61,360 to $65,879, pro rata.
Top of the range is $71,150.
