This includes coordinating grid outages, identifying, analysing, and mitigating risks on the grid and, when there are any events, ensuring we restore electricity supply as quickly and safely as possible.About The OpportunityBased in either our Auckland or Christchurch office, you'll join a growing national team supporting grid projects and maintenance across the country.In this role, you'll design and prepare outage documentation, influence project plans, and maintain operational databases, all while improving processes and safety protocols.
As the main point of contact, you'll work closely with distribution companies, service providers, engineers, and project managers to support the commissioning and decommissioning of assets.As you grow in the role, you'll help improve the grid operations planning process, expand your professional network, and have the chance to manage real-time grid operations.

Problem-solving comes naturally to you, and you enjoy piecing things together to understand availability, timeframes, and key requirements.
