NHS Shropshire, Telford and Wrekin Integrated Care BoardNHS Shropshire, Telford and Wrekin Integrated Care Board (ICB) is looking for a highly motivated and experienced Primary Care Commissioner to take on a senior leadership role within our Primary Care Team.They will support the Head of Primary Care and PCN Development in driving forward the co-development of a resilient and sustainable primary care system in collaboration with our primary care providers.We aim to put the four pillars of Primary Care - general practice, community pharmacy, optometry and dentistry at the heart of transformation to deliver a shared ambition and vision for the future.

The post holder will also be required to have excellent communication skills, including the ability to negotiate with senior stakeholders on difficult or contentious issues.
The role will lead the management of a portfolio of plans and projects with the Head of Primary Care and PCN development.

Significant experience in managing a portfolio of competing projects and priorities is essential.Work effectively with a variety of managers and clinicians in other organisations representing the ICB at local and regional meetings and improvement programmes pertaining to primary care including integrated neighbourhood teams/representatives working on modernising general practice, Primary Care strategy, transformation initiatives/offers.Establishing & maintaining sound communication and information sharing among ICB and co-ordination of aggregated information for a series of information requests & returns required by NHS England and/or ICB committees, preventing replication and ensuring comprehensive and consistent programme reporting both within and out of the ICB/ICS.Link with ICB lead managers and members of primary care teams to support & deliver at scale where possible assurance of project progress & achievement through shared knowledge, information sharing & deployment of project specific activity.
