The department boasts four observation unit beds. With a focus on high patient acuity and significant trauma cases, our department provides a stimulating environment for professional growth. Joining a seasoned team of 16 Emergency Medicine Physicians, 15 Registrars, 8 House Officers, and 4 Nurse Practitioners.Accredited as a tier 2 non-major referral site for training with the Australasian College for Emergency Medicine (24 months ED training), offering a structured teaching program and ample learning opportunities.We can offer suitably qualified advanced trainees a 3-month Anaesthetic rotation after completing a minimum of 6 months in the Emergency Department.
