The Clinical Nurse Specialist - Emergency Housing (Homeless) is responsible for providing specialist nursing care and expertise both in consulting, advising, direct care delivery and provision of health expertise and guidance to all staff within the MSD and MHUD contracted Housing Hub and associated housing providers.
As a member of the interagency team (MSD and Public Health) the CNS has a key resource role in supporting and enhancing timely, and effective triaging, assessment and care interventions to all people presenting to the Housing Hub and in other designated accommodation facilities in Rotorua.
This role will work in partnership with the Rotorua hospital emergency department Social Worker and other clinical staff to ensure a collaborative multidisciplinary focus and effective service delivery.

**Required skills and experience**:

- Senior nurse experience.
- A passion for equity in health outcomes.
- Proven highly effective written and verbal communication.
- Above average organisation skills.
- A sound knowledge of quality management and evidence of embedding this into clinical practice.

**Salary Range**: $116,040 - 127,674
