Another stunning chapter for Fairmont Royal York has begun.
Job Description As a Valet Parking Attendant, you will set the stage for the guest experience with your welcoming smile and service.
Warmly greet all arriving guests at the Valet Entrance while providing courteous, efficient, and enthusiastic valet parking services or directions to public parking.
Assist in regulating the movement and flow of vehicles to avoid traffic congestion inclusive of parking and retrieving vehicles.
Maintain strict controls and inventory of vehicles and keys including registering in O-Valet and completing 360 walk documenting vehicle condition.
Provide the removal of items from stored vehicles if required, and other miscellaneous services requested by the guest or Guest Services Leader in a timely manner.
Resolve guest problems within the scope of authority; otherwise, refer to the supervisor on duty.
When requested or anticipated, provide guests with information and answers to questions about Hotel facilities, meeting functions, dining facilities, local transportation alternatives, and tourist attractions.
Strict adherence to Fairmont Service Standard Expectations as it relates to Valet Parking.
Qualifications G Class Ontario Driver's License (or equivalent) with no infractions is a requirement.
Ability to operate all types of vehicles (Manual & Automatic) is a requirement.
Must be available for weekend shifts (Saturday AND Sunday) as well as one other evening during the week.
A service-focused personality with a good command of the English language.
Additional Information Visa Requirements: Must provide proof of eligibility to work in Canada.
