Team Leaders/Supervisors (Manufacturing, Transport & Logistics)Full timeTe Turanga / About the Role:As a Team Leader in Animal Assembly at our Waitotara site, you will be responsible for overseeing the arrival of animals to site during your shift and working with your team ensuring they have a clear understanding of daily production & animal welfare requirements.This is a night shift position and interested candidates must be available to work from approx. 2.30pm - 1am approx.Te Mahi / Key Responsibilities:Communicate what food safety, quality and compliance requirements are specific to your team and actively observe the chain to ensure these are maintained at all times.Train and coach members of your team to understand what specifications and production targets mean and how they relate to the team member's work.Organise daily production requirements in conjunction with your manager and clearly communicate this with your team.Ou Pukenga / About You:The successful candidate will demonstrate leadership qualities and experience from their time in the manufacturing, FMCG or primary industries; and be driven by building a safe, quality-focused and positive culture within their team. They will be confident with identifying areas for improvement within the plant and have a desire to progress their career in the red meat industry where opportunities are endless.
