This role is about making connections between council and local networks and organisations that are working to enhance our social and economic environment, to grow capacity and capability and seek opportunities to work collectively.
You will work to broker the involvement of other agencies and organisations who can help make local community projects and programmes happen.
You will provide support to enable communities to plan for and realise their social and economic aspirations.As a member of this team you will work with local service providers, Maori providers, ethnic communities and government agencies to deliver key work programmes such as our Youth to Employment programme, and our Welcoming Communities programme.
