The company is a member of a nationwide supply group and has a retail store in Christchurch, selling nationwide.The business has been consistently growing over the last 14 years. They specialize in engineering sales and are growing strongly in manufacturing, construction, and other industries. The company has a well-established support structure including high stock levels, a well-trained team, healthy margins, and industry-leading products.Role RequirementsYou will need to have the following:Proven track record in a technical product sales role within engineering, construction, or manufacturing, with a minimum of 5 years of sales experience.A sales achiever with a past track record of exceeding your sales targets.Adheres to a step-by-step sales process with well-developed sales skills.Strong relationship-building and interpersonal skills, dealing with a wide range of customers and writing quotes.Self-driven and self-motivated to succeed in a sales role.Accuracy and attention to detail to understand and record customer needs.Good computer skills with Microsoft Office products including Outlook, Excel, Word, and familiarity with enterprise software.Applicants for this position should have NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa.Application ProcessPreference will be given to applicants with a track record of sales success, ideally within the building industry.
