With over 20 years of collaboration with prestigious institutions like Ara Institute and the University of Canterbury, we're dedicated to staying at the forefront of solar technology.About Our RoleAs Sunshine Solar continues to grow, we're seeking a talented Field Sales Consultant to join our team and cover territory in & around the Hawkes Bay. You could be based in Napier, Hastings or surrounds. This role combines technical knowledge (training & development given), sales expertise, and customer service excellence to help our customers achieve their energy independence dream.As a contractor to Sunshine Solar, your working hours are flexible, driven only by your desire to deliver sales results. You will need to be available regularly on evenings and weekends to meet with homeowners. All your appointments are pre-booked and pre-qualified by the team, no lead chasing requiredKey ResponsibilitiesSales consultations - conduct professional in-home consultations with pre-qualified prospects, follow-up systematically, update CRM systemSystem design – create detailed solar system designs, calculate potential energy production and savings, prepare comprehensive quotesCustomer relations - build and maintain strong customer relationships, provide expert advice on solar technology, ensure smooth handover to installation team & follow up post-sale to ensure customer satisfactionProfessional development - participate in regular training sessions, stay current with industry & product developments, attend team meetings and sales briefings, contribute to team knowledge sharingAbout YouAt Sunshine Solar, you're part of a family that values your contribution and is dedicated to helping you achieve career goals. If you have a solar system yourself and are passionate about solar and sustainable energy solutions, you will be in your element at Sunshine SolarYou will ideally bring:3+ years of sales experience; ideally in solar or a similar B2C sales environment.
