Treatment Supervisor – Radiation TherapistRadiation Oncology, Dunedin Hospital, Permanent Fulltime OpportunitySalary Band – $122,570 - $130,295 p.a pro rata + KiwisaverHealth New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora is firmly grounded in the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and is committed to building a health system that serves all New Zealanders.About The RoleThe key purpose of this supervisor role is to provide overall co-ordination of workflow and resources in a treatment area, ensuring the provision of a high-quality service for the patients treated in the Dunedin Radiation Therapy department.
Working with the other treatment supervisors you will foster not only excellence in quality practice standards and professional conduct, but also collaboration across both the pre-treatment and treatment teams, and with the wider multidisciplinary oncology team.
The expectation is that you will comprehensively manage your team within allocated resources of time and people by promoting efficiency, productivity and patient safety.This role belongs to the APEX Radiation Therapists collective agreement (08 April 2024 - 07 April 2026) With the Designated C positions PayScale- Step 1 $122,570 to Enhanced Step C3- $130,295.About UsTe Whatu Ora - Southern has the largest geographical coverage of all the New Zealand regions, providing services to 350,000 people in diverse communities.
