We support clients and their whanau in the region spanning from the far north of New Zealand/ Kaitaia to Taupo. The Hearing House offers a supportive people-focused culture where our team's purpose is to enable all people who are hard of hearing, communicate and participate in society to their full potential.About the RoleWe are looking for a part-time Audiologist (approximately 3 days per week) to provide best-practice cochlear implant audiological services to our clients (children and adults), including carrying out cochlear implant candidacy assessments, switch-on and device programming, mapping, post-implant reviews and contra lateral hearing aid fittings. This may lead to a leadership opportunity for the right candidate.Your responsibilities will include:Completing and writing assessments alongside the implant teamProviding post-operative audiology managementOrganising and running multi-day clinics, including outreach clinics, throughout the Northern region of New ZealandWorking effectively with diverse people including people with a range of complex needsDemonstrating passion, commitment and empathy in all aspects of your workThere are exciting opportunities for you at The Hearing House to work on projects of clinical interest and contribute to clinical research.
