What To ExpectBe a key member of a cross functional business team with a particular focus on maintaining and further developing business with existing customer accounts.
This is a multi-faceted role where strong product and market knowledge is expected.
In addition to a rock-solid work ethic and a team-oriented personality, members of our team display creativity, passion, and a desire to break new ground in a constantly shifting technology landscape.What You'll DoDevelop and maintain highly productive partner accounts (e.g.
PV installers, energy retailers, and network operators)Build and maintain relationships across the organisation of partner accountsConvey Tesla product roadmap and prepare partners for integrationAnticipate new business opportunities with accounts and identify suitable product offerings to satisfy customer requirementsBe responsible for achieving volume sales within assigned channel(s)Expand sales channels by identifying new partners and supporting contract negotiationProvide product feedback to technical team regarding fit and applicability of product design and offeringMaintain an understanding of market dynamics across relevant sectors (e.g.
utility, commercial & industrial, residential, etc.)
and drivers (e.g.
policy/regulatory, techno-economics, etc.
)Contribute input regarding Tesla's product and sales strategy for the regionContribute to techno-economic analysis to assess market opportunitiesProvide high fidelity sales forecasts to business and manufacturing teamsProvide key market insights to the broader business teamProvide input on the development of marketing/sales materialProvide product and sales training to partner accounts - exceptional presentation skills requiredWhat You'll BringBA/BS or the equivalent in experience and evidence of exceptional ability5 years relevant work experience is preferredProfessional fluency in English required; proficiency in other regional languages a plusDemonstrated performance of sales/business development in a related fieldExperience launching new businesses/productsExcellent communication and documentation skillsAbility to multitask in a fast moving environmentExperience digesting and translating technical requirements and policy/regulatory information for commercial applicability is preferredEnergy experience is preferredDeep passion for changing the way we use energy on the electric grid
