We are seeking a dynamic and results-orientated Key Account Manager to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate strong commercial acumen, proven account-management skills, and experience in managing a range of categories and products. You will be responsible for developing and growing strategic relationships with key accounts, driving sales growth, developing go to market plans and ingrain advocacy across New Zealand retail.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Account Management: Develop and implement strategic sales strategies alongside Country Manager and with key accounts to achieve sales targets and long-term sales growth. Take the lead as the key contact point for your accounts, developing relationships and growing the overall Dreame market share.
  2. Business Development: Utilise market insights and competitor analysis to identify opportunities for growth within your key accounts. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop effective sales strategies that align with your accounts' aims and Dreame's strategic objectives.
  3. Multi-Category Management: Oversee the go-to-market implementation and management for your key customers. Identify correct ranging and propose launch strategies which support execution and long-term success.
  4. Relationship Building: Establish and nurture strong long-term relationships with key internal and external stakeholders. Engage in regular communication to share best practices and gain valuable insights on how we can best support our key customers.
  5. Performance Analysis: Monitor sales performance and work with the distributor to provide regular performance reports and forecasts. Use data-driven insights to refine your strategies and enhance account performance.
  6. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with our distributor both locally and internationally to best support our NZ retailers. Collaborate with key internal teams such as marketing, category, and supply chain to align efforts and deliver on account expectations.

Qualifications

  1. 5+ years experience in account management, preferably within consumer electronics.
  2. Demonstrated commercial acumen with a proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing key accounts.
  3. Experience in multi-category management, with the ability to navigate and drive results across various product lines.
  4. Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret sales data and create informed strategies.
  5. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
  6. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
