As a Development Manager, you will be involved in leading and inspiring the Development Team, coordinating development priorities, overseeing software quality assurance, and cultivating a positive and inclusive team culture. You will drive agile processes, support team members' growth and development, and ensure the delivery of high-quality software aligned with business objectives.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and inspire the Development Team in executing end-to-end software development processes.Define and communicate development goals, strategies, and priorities to align with business objectives.Mentor and support developers to build confidence and technical capability across the team.Collaborate with product managers to translate product requirements into actionable development plans.Oversee and continuously improve the software development lifecycle, implementing agile methodologies.Ensure high-quality software products by developing and maintaining a comprehensive assurance strategy.Coordinate with cross-functional teams to integrate quality assurance into the development cycle.Create opportunities for professional growth and skill development for team members.Act as a deputy leader for the Security Incident Recovery Team when required.Report on Agile health, project progress, and key metrics to the CTO and other stakeholders.Key Qualifications5+ years of experience in an Agile development environment, including 3+ years in a leadership role managing and guiding technical teams.Experience working with or overseeing technologies such as C# (.NET 7), TypeScript (Angular), and familiarity with DevOps practices and tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, Application Insights, SQL) is highly desirable but not mandatory.Bachelor's Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred but not essential.Knowledge of OWASP, ISO27001, and experience with Excel integrations, Mathematical Programming, or Salesforce is a plus.Demonstrated ability to lead and collaborate effectively with technical teams, even without hands-on programming expertise.
