Are you a visionary leader ready to profoundly impact organisational growth and development? Join us as our Organisational Development Manager, reporting to the Head of People & Culture and overseeing a dedicated team. Your role will be central to driving, supporting, and implementing critical organization-wide initiatives, driving our long-term plan into action.
We are committed to propelling forward with innovation and strategy at Christchurch City Council. With our sights set on the future, we seek an Organisational Development Manager who can steer the ship and guide our people toward success. This role is about thinking outside the box, and pioneering new approaches that will lead us to a thriving future workforce.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Lead the ongoing development, support, and execution of vital organisation-wide projects, such as the competency framework, Performance Management System, employee engagement survey, Leaders' Forums, Digital Learning, and Learning Community.
- Embrace our ever-evolving landscape and seek innovative solutions that ensure our people are equipped for the future, working collaboratively with Executive Leadership, business leaders, and People and Culture colleagues to deliver tailored OD solutions.
- Foster a future-focused mindset, bringing practical OD and leadership experience to the table while advancing our cultural competence and embodying a spirit of continuous improvement.
- Play a pivotal role as a trusted advisor, leveraging your confidence, credibility, and exceptional influencing skills to shape strategic decisions and drive transformative change.
- Embrace a coaching and mentoring approach to empower others on the journey to success.
