This is not just another role - it's an opportunity to lead, innovate, and transform. You'll guide a talented team of six Commercial Managers across our North Island depots focusing on leadership development, succession planning, and long-term business growth. Your key responsibilities include: Taking charge of budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, and month-end processes, ensuring optimal financial health. Leading insightful financial reporting and performance analysis to keep us on track for success. Crafting strategies to boost profitability, minimize costs, and uncover new growth opportunities. Providing high-level commercial leadership and ensuring cohesive performance across the Contracting division. Overseeing the development, negotiation, and management of key contracts that shape the future of Northpower. Why Northpower? Who We're Looking For: We're searching for a visionary commercial leader who is ready to make a bold impact. To thrive in this role, you'll need: A Chartered Accountant qualification, coupled with 10+ years of experience in financial and commercial management. Proven experience leading high-performing teams in contracting or commercial environments. Expertise in contract negotiation, risk management, and the execution of commercial strategies. Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire teams and build collaborative relationships at all levels of the business.
