Salary midpoint of $105,270, actual salary dependent on your experienceKo ake mahi - What you'll do The Senior Advisor is a member of the Health Surveys team and is responsible for providing high quality advice to support the delivery of Health Survey projects. The Senior Advisor will work on the implementation of Health Surveys, such as the Child and Youth Mental Health Survey and New Zealand Health Survey, to meet the Ministry's information needs.
We currently have 2 fixed term roles available for a Senior Advisor. Both roles sit within the Health Surveys team. The first role has a focus on supporting activities on the New Zealand Health Survey, such as planning and managing projects and releasing data and insights. The second role has a focus on the development of a new Child and Youth Mental Health Survey and will involve consulting with experts, supporting the survey design and procurement activities and facilitating governance and advisory groups. Key Responsibilities: Strong customer focus, with experience collaborating with stakeholders or customers to meet their information needsProven record in successfully planning and managing projects and supporting procurement activitiesAnalytical skills and experience in reporting survey resultsStrong written and oral communication skillsFor the role on the Child and Youth Mental Health Survey, experience in mental health research, working with children or youth, or designing and testing mental health survey instruments is desirableAt Manatu Hauora – Ministry of Health we are the kaitiaki of the health system, providing leadership and driving strategy and performance.
