We make sure we do the right projects, and those projects are done right.Te Mahi / The RoleWe are seeking two experienced Project Managers to lead complex and medium to large-scale projects from planning through to completion.
You will be responsible for ensuring that projects deliver the required outputs and meet client objectives.
You'll be pivotal in managing all aspects of the project lifecycle to achieve successful outcomes and exceed client expectations.Learning Management SystemThe Learning Management System (LMS) Project is an important component of the overall DLE Programme.
The University uses an LMS to deliver personal learning experiences through the sharing of learning materials, management of assessments and provision of online activities.
Updating our LMS will significantly enhance the experience for students and staff by increasing the consistency, accessibility and usability of the digital learning resources provided to support students engaging with their papers.
The project will also introduce new tools for managing and creating digital learning and teaching.Curriculum Management SystemThe Curriculum Management System (CMS) Project will implement a system to enhance and modernise the management of our paper and programme lifecycles.
The Project will update processes and policies as required and also introduce a degree planning tool for future and current students.To excel in this role, you will have:• A relevant qualification in project management, IT, or business (e.g., PRINCE2, PMP).• Significant experience in project management.• Be skilled in project management methodologies and tools, including scoping, planning, and monitoring.• Strong analytical abilities, report writing, and problem-solving skills.While not essential, it would be ideal to have extensive project management experience in large or complex organisations, proven leadership skills, experience in procurement and contract management, and a solid understanding of change management methodologies.
Experience with web / content projects would be well received.Learning Management System - This is a full-time (37.5 hours per week), fixed term position for 2.5 years, located in Dunedin.Curriculum Management System – This is a part-time (22.5 hours per week), fixed term position for 2.5 years, located in Dunedin.The appointment range is $93,321 to $101,963 per annum.
