As a well-established business, they are able to cater to the varied needs of their customers - providing repair, maintenance and 24-hour on-call specialist staff to handle repairs from minor electrical through to major engine rebuilds and accident damage.Committed to providing excellent customer service, they are expanding, and therefore looking to add a Workshop Supervisor/Manager to their team.About the role:You will be responsible for leading a small team, including the Foreman.Managing and motivating the team and their workflow and targets, and overseeing work safety.Coordinating the smooth running of all workshop activities, including overall financial performance, reviewing of job cards, job costings, and invoicing.Providing relationship management with the customer.You will be required to jump on the tools to assist with any difficult troubleshooting issues or if the Foreman is on leave.About you:You are a qualified diesel mechanic/foreman looking to step into an off-the-tools role where you will be responsible for leading a team and managing people.You will hold a minimum of a Class 4 drivers license, Class 5 is preferred.You will be able to get things done, be self-motivated, take ownership to drive the result of your team.You are a friendly and positive person with management experience, who's great with people and can motivate those around you.You will have good computer skills, ORAN software is used and training will be given.You have excellent communication skills, both spoken and written.You can drive a strong work ethic as well as a health and safety culture.You're reliable, autonomous, possess excellent attention to detail, and always take care with your work.You take pride in building long-term relationships that can enhance business opportunities over time.You're willing to learn, pitch in and as well as contribute ideas.Benefits:The hours of work are Monday to Friday, 7:30am - 5:00pm, with rostered half days on Saturday 8:00am - 12noon.
There is an attractive hourly wage on offer based on experience, plus a monthly incentive bonus, plus a company vehicle and work phone.
