This program, which began in 2018, is now focused on the construction phase, with over 220 projects in progress and work expected to continue for the next 2–3 years.Working as part of a dedicated team of five and supported by four external project management consultancies, you will play a key part in this team.
As a Project Manager, you will come with a strong background in construction and a deep understanding of leaky building remediation and renovation projects.
This role requires expertise in managing the full project lifecycle, from initial planning through to completion, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.A strong understanding of construction processes and the ability to read construction drawings is essential.
You'll work closely with architects, contractors, and stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and resolving issues as they arise.
You will manage variations, address potential risks, and maintain high attention to detail throughout the project.Proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong time management skills are required.
You will also need excellent customer service skills to keep clients informed and ensure their expectations are met.This position offers a 40-hour work week and is initially authorised for six months, with a strong likelihood of extension through the program's duration.
