The RoleAs a Team Leader Sustainable E-wasteYou will plan, oversee, coordinate and promote sustainable electronic waste (e-waste) practices within the University. Play a critical role in promoting a positive environmental impact and ensure responsible handling of e-waste throughout its lifecycle. Ideally, you will be the type of person who enjoys motivating, coaching and developing a team. You will be an effective communicator with a passion (and proven understanding) for e-waste regulations, waste management standards, and circular economy principles.Ka pukeka me ka wheako / Skills and experienceQualification or body of knowledge appropriate to the role (Professional certifications in sustainability, waste management, or related fields are advantageous).Experience in a role(s) in complex environments that required innovation, problem solving, team management and community engagement skills.Experience overseeing, training and upskilling a team of junior talents joining the team regularly.Mo te tima / About our TeamAt the University of Otago, you would be joining the team responsible for empowering the future of New Zealand thinkers every day.
