**Job Description** About the role**:
Are you passionate about making a positive impact on the environment? We are seeking a dedicated and skilled individual to fill the role of Landfill Monitoring Technician based in Green Island in Dunedin. As a key member of our team, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring compliance with environmental monitoring plans and consent conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct field sampling and testing according to monitoring plans.
- Coordinate with external laboratories for sample analysis.
- Analyse test results, ensuring compliance with consent conditions.
- Maintain and calibrate laboratory and field-testing equipment.
- Generate detailed reports on environmental monitoring data.
- Undertake waste sampling and testing on incoming waste loads.

**Qualifications** About you**:

- Tertiary qualifications in Applied Sciences or equivalent.
- Strong planning, organisational, and time management skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
- Ability to safely drive a 4WD under site conditions.
- Willingness to work outdoors in varied conditions.
