This is a fixed-term 0.8 FTE role for one year and combines administration responsibilities with a central focus on coordinating service delivery across three sites: MidCentral, Whanganui, and Wairarapa.
About the role As the Coordinator, your primary responsibility will be to work alongside the urology teams based at MidCentral, Whanganui, and Wairarapa to implement the expansion of the Sub-Regional Urology Service and embed new processes and systems across all three districts.
This role is responsible for the day-to-day coordination of the service and regional coordination of urology SMOs, nursing staff, patients, clinics, and theatre access, working in close partnership with the Operational Leads at each site, with a particular focus on ensuring the effective and efficient running of the sub-regional urology service.
You will ensure that the agreed processes and systems are followed and that these reflect the organisational standards for service delivery, working collaboratively with Operational Leads and others as relevant to achieve compliance with the Health Target Plans across all three districts.
This role demands a good understanding of healthcare in the Planned Care environment.

The Sub-regional Urology service is designed around a "Hub and Spoke" service delivery model of care.
Salary range This role belongs to the e Pukenga Here Tikanga Mahi Public Service Association (PSA) National Health Administration Workers Collective Agreement.
