Service Administrator - ENT and OphthalmologySalary per annum $70,970 - $73,941 pro rata.A rewarding role in a supportive teamHealth New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora is firmly grounded in the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and is committed to building a health system that serves all New Zealanders.About the RoleThis role will effectively contribute to the smooth running of the services by providing an effective and timely administrative support function that is responsive and flexible to the changing needs of the service and organisation.You will be responsible for:Providing timely and accurate confidential secretarial support for the Service Manager'sAssisting with the processing of payroll, Time & Attendance, complaints and incidents, and development of reports and business plans.Ensuring all task requests assigned to the Service Manager's direct reports are completed on time.Assisting with the orientation process of new permanent Senior Medical Officers and Locums as required.Maintain confidentiality of documentation and informationProviding general administration and support for the wider team.About the Team/Service/ LocationHealth New Zealand - Te Whatu Ora - Southern has the largest geographical coverage of all the New Zealand regions, providing services to 350,000 people in diverse communities.

As an experienced administrator you will also be skilled at juggling multiple priorities and able to remain calm under pressure.Our ideal candidate will have:Previous experience in a busy administration roleHigh degree of knowledge and use of Microsoft Office suite including advanced knowledge of word processing, excel, outlook, graphics and presentation packagesExcellent word processing and data entry skills, with a strong eye for detailStrong written and verbal communication skillsFlexible approach with the ability to successfully prioritise your workloadRespectful nature handling confidential, often sensitive information in a professional mannerHealth New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora is dedicated to ensuring excellent healthcare for the people of New Zealand.
