We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Plant Manager to lead our Hamilton facility, drive performance, and contribute to our business growth.About The RoleAs the Plant Manager, you will oversee all manufacturing operations, ensuring efficiency, quality, and safety while fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
You will lead a team of 230 employees, managing production, process engineering, maintenance, warehousing, and quality functions.
This role requires a leader who can balance strategic direction with day-to-day operational excellence.Role Responsibilities Safety Leadership: Develop and reinforce a strong safety culture, ensuring an uncompromising approach to workplace safety and compliance with all health and safety regulations.Leadership & Engagement: Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and high performance across all departments.Operational Excellence: Deliver cost savings through Lean & Continuous Improvement initiatives while ensuring production meets business targets.Strategic Alignment: Work closely with the NZ Supply Chain Leadership Team to ensure seamless integration of manufacturing with broader business objectives.People Development: Identify, mentor, and develop employees to build future leadership within the plant.Customer Focus: Drive on-time delivery, product quality, and customer satisfaction, working closely with sales and supply chain teams.In line with business objectives, perform other duties as assigned.What we are looking for Uncompromising approach to safety, with experience implementing and sustaining a strong safety culture.Proven leadership experience in a manufacturing environment, ideally in packaging, chemicals, or a related industry, minimum 5 years Plant management.Strong people management skills, with experience leading cross-functional teams.Track record of implementing business improvement projects, including cost reduction and efficiency enhancements.Strategic thinker with strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field (essential).Why Join Us?
